Bowling Green State University desires to have plans and specifications prepared for complete Elevator Upgrades for at the Math Science Building and the original part of the Business Administration Building. The University of Toledo plans to renovate the existing classrooms at University Hall. Work will include renovating classrooms on floors 2, 3, 4 and 5. Renovations will include new finishes, technology upgrades, furniture upgrades and some rooms may be increased in size. The budget for this project is $289,100 for classroom finishes and $247,800 for classroom furniture.

The University of Toledo Operating Rooms 13 and 14

Project Description

The University of Toledo plans to renovate existing space on the second floor of the University Medical Center into two new operating rooms with support rooms. One of these rooms may be designed as a hybrid operating room. Both rooms will offer increased control of the equipment by either voice or touch screen and be fully integrated with the latest audio visual communications systems, which allow the surgeons to access data locally within the hospital as well as globally. Work will also include the relocation of an existing tel/data closet in order to accommodate the construction of the new operating rooms. This relocation may take place as a phase I project with the OR room renovations taking place under phase II.

This project includes exterior and interior improvements to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) Lima, OH, facility. Exterior improvements will include parking lot repairs, restoration of brick masonry, site walls, replacement of four exterior doors and frames, and repair of the existing roof gutters and drain leaders. Interior improvements will include some interior wall repair and painting.

The University of Toledo Law Center Auditorium Renovation

Project Description

The University of Toledo plans to renovate the existing Law Center Auditorium. The current auditorium has a seating capacity of 296. Included in the number are 135 riser mounted seats in the balcony. Renovations will involve the replacement or modernization of seating. It will also consist of new lighting, possible platform enlargement, new finishes, and handicapped accessibility access. Also the existing stairs serving the balcony will receive new finishes if sufficient funding is available.
