Toledo, Ohio 43606

Project Description

The University of Toledo plans to renovate existing space on the second floor of the University Medical Center into two new operating rooms with support rooms. One of these rooms may be designed as a hybrid operating room. Both rooms will offer increased control of the equipment by either voice or touch screen and be fully integrated with the latest audio visual communications systems, which allow the surgeons to access data locally within the hospital as well as globally. Work will also include the relocation of an existing tel/data closet in order to accommodate the construction of the new operating rooms. This relocation may take place as a phase I project with the OR room renovations taking place under phase II.
